Summary

LeVan, Sprader, Patton & Plymire is an insurance defense and litigation firm in Nashville, representing insurance carriers and corporations in Tennessee state and federal courts. The firm had a strong reputation and a dated, slow website that did not reflect it.

Its work comes from referrals rather than search, so the site has one job: confirm the firm quickly for the insurance adjusters and corporate counsel who look it up. We designed and built a single page that does that, and launched it on the firm’s domain.

Decisions

  1. 01

One page, not a brochure site

A multi-page site with intake forms and a chatbot would have solved a problem the firm does not have. One well-made page covers mediation, attorneys, practice areas and offices without burying the firm name.

  2. 02

The firm name carries the design

The name is set large over a faded photograph of the Tennessee Supreme Court building, with one line of positioning and two actions: mediation and contact. Nothing competes with it.

  3. 03

    Static rendering, no runtime dependencies

The page is rendered at build time and served as static files, so there is nothing to slow down or break between updates.
